NikoFit WhatsApp Chatbot Launched to Bring Financial Knowledge Closer to the Public

Zanzibar, 4 September 2026 — The Tanzania Bankers Association (TBA) has officially launched NikoFit Whatsapp Chatbot | NikoFit na Maarifa ya Pesa, a WhatsApp-based financial knowledge chatbot designed to make practical financial education more accessible to the public through digital innovation.

The chatbot was launched during the TBA 30th Anniversary Gala Dinner held on 4 September 2026, in the presence of the Second Vice President of Zanzibar, H.E. Hemed Suleiman Abdulla, who graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.

The launch marks an important step in TBA’s efforts to promote financial knowledge and support individuals in developing the skills needed to make informed financial decisions.
